Burned-out fixtures and cluttered landings show up in many tenant fall stories. Here is what to record.
Exterior and stairwell bulbs fail. Tenants notice after someone falls. Photograph the fixture, the landing, and any work-order texts you already sent. A timestamped photo that night is stronger than a memory of “it was dark.”
If you reported the light earlier, keep that message. If you did not, still record the condition now. Do not wait for a maintenance visit to “fix it first.”
