Paint stripes in a parking garage

Fresh paint, oil, and a sloped ramp can look like ‘just a parking lot’ until someone is already on the ground. Photograph the surface, not only the bruise.
Why garages are different
Interior ramps collect oil, tire dust, and rain that cars drag in. A newly painted stall or speed bump can be slick before it cures. Lighting is often worse than the adjacent sidewalk, which is why a wide photo of the bay matters as much as a close-up of the shoe.
What to photograph that day
Shoot the stall or ramp from standing height, then from the surface. Include any wet tire tracks, cones, or missing lights. If a manager appears, note the time and whether they offered an incident report. Ask, calmly, whether cameras cover that aisle — then write down the answer.
Video clocks are short
Many garage systems overwrite recordings in days, not months. A written request this week is more useful than a memory of “there were cameras somewhere.” This site does not send that request for you.
